14. Gotta Keep Pushing The Envelope...Like A Shock Jock

Think of hate radio as a group of carnival barkers...all yelling to get your attenion. At first, the volume gets your attention, but after a while, all the yelling gets lost in the din and each barker needs to do something to recapture your attention. In the shock jock days, goofy "morning zoo" guys would introduce more sexual innuendos and then situations and so on. Or they'd say some tirade and get a lot of headlines...then they had to top it with an even bigger tirade.

Rushbo is the head carnival barker at a freak show that has headed into hyper drive. Common sense and class have long been jetisoned as the audience is so atuned to the hate and over-the-top insults, they not only expect it, they demand it. The more insulting the better...as if this will soothe their wounded egos and any outrage it creates feeds into their narcasism.

wing asses were predicting that Eurpope was going to be mad at Obama and blame him for the crisis. A few days before the trip he started to change his tune as he realized that was not going to happen. Now he's yelling at his compatriots for thinking that Obama was going to be unpopular over there. His excuse now is, Obama is agreeing with them that America is to blame and so that's why they won't dis him.
