Question about health insurance pre-existing conditions |
|
I had two stents implanted in my coronary arteries 5 years and 4 months ago. Am I obligated by law to list that on health insurance applications? Even if they ask?

or they can come back and deny you any coverage on claims down the road. My husband had a heart attack nine years ago and after his carrier left the state and canceled him he has been unable to get insurance from anyone. Best of luck.

If any complications occur (I hope not) down the road and they find that you neglected to tell them....they may not pay a dime.
As for "law"...who knows. Seems the health care industry is setting there own laws for quite some time now.

4. Yes, if you don't disclose what they ask about, you're committing fraud. |
|
And they will find out and deny claims for anything and everything, whether it's related to the stents or not.
