What is your description of a Chief of Staff? |
|
I can tell you mine. My COS is my closest associate in the company! He/she knows how I think, what I do, and knows my answer to any question before I've ever even answered it.
I can't believe Gonzo's COSwas kept in the dark about EVERYTHING!
I happen to believe his testimony. I really think he had no idea what was going on around him. He's a nice enough guy, buthe sure didn't seem link an attorney, and I wouldn't hire him to do the closing on my house!!!!!

1. The Bush Admin is interesting, because Andy Card wasn't really one of the major players |
|
And Josh Bolten isn't really either. Cheney and Rove are really the ones that run the show. I think they do that intentionally to keep the COS from being liable for their criminal activities.

3. Thanks, Captain Obvious. He's lying. Everyone knows he's lying.... |
|
... But what "everyone knows" isn't the standard of proof. Well, unless you're black - but that's different.

4. His demeanor changed radically |

when being spoon-fed by two of the Republican Senators.
However, I think Spector is still pissed off that "some people" on his staff snuck that paragraph into the Patriot Act and he got blamed for it. He wasn't lobbing all softballs.

5. You missed the purpose of my question. I don't care about Kyle. |
|
He's what he is. My point is, what is a COF? I simply can't believe ANYBODY would be a real COS and not be aware ofevery move and thought of his boss!
Do you have one? Is THAT what YOU expect from yours?

I made the choice not to live with secrets and lies. I not rich, but I'm sleeping well at night and likely won't be going to prison anytime soon.

7. Anyone who thinks the Chief of Staff and his principal don't coordinate on EVERY DAMN THING ... |
|
... isn't even qualified to think about falling off the turnip truck. The pretense of 'plausible deniability' in this case is laughable in the extreme. It's the least of an infinite number of plausibles.

I could tall by watching him act like a total nut last night that he's really just a fun guy at heart.
