Sarah Palin's feud with Bristol Palin's ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston hits new level
Snippets:

"It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well-being of the child," said a statement from a Palin family representative yesterday.

"We're disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration and even distortion of their relationship," said the statement.

In the interview, the Johnston family reveals Bristol Palin, who became pregnant at 17, forced Levi to attend the Republican National Convention in September.

Mercede said, "Levi told me called and said that, 'You're going,' and he said, 'I want to go hunting,' and she said, 'You're going.'"

Johnston said he decided to break his silence because of rumors and lies.

"It's time that we get our story out there," he said.

Why doesn't she make the jump? It will be better for her family and she'd be a big hit with a Fox talk show.

It's the Wasillabillies. It says a lot about them that they'd go after an 18-year-old kid who happens to be the father of their grandchild. It still amazes me that Palin was briefly taken seriously as a Vice Presidential candidate. What a weird country this is.

52. Apparently even **Levi** has said that he would vote for her in 2012
Somehow, I don't foresee Palin doing a "clean up Levi and bring him onto the national stage" sequel. Not that she will get far enough in the 2012 process for that to happen, anyway.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ent/celebrities/6357836.html

Levi Johnston says ex-fiance Bristol Palin, daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, allows him to visit their 3-month-old son but won’t let him take the baby out.

In an interview to air Monday with talk show host Tyra Banks, Johnston, 19, said he and 18-year-old Bristol don’t always get along.

“Some days we can have regular conversations without fighting,” Johnston said. “Most of the times, I don’t know what’s wrong with her. She’s in a pretty bad mood, she’s short, she doesn’t want me around, I don’t think. She says that I can come see the baby and that kind of thing, but wont let me take him anywhere.”

(snip)
Asked whom he’d vote for in 2012 if the choice were President Barack Obama or the Alaska governor, he said: “I still think I’m going to have to vote for Sarah Palin.”

About what's best for Bristol.

Has she ever given any indication--beyond spending other people's money on designer clothes for them--that she much cared about any of her children? As others here have noted, she used them for props for her Motherhood-and-apple-pie schtick, kept them out of school, etc. Sarah ALWAYS came first.

Mr. F****n' Redneck is making Sarah look bad, so she's trying to pull him down a peg.

so it can be compared to the baby's.

Birth certificate will NOT do because from what I have read, if someone adopts a baby in that area, they can have a legal birth certificate written up to reflect the parent doing the adoption as being the birth parent.
(searching, searching...bingo!)

BTW, keep an eye on the below blog...they have been researching (via tips they have gotten) the myspaces of the Wasilla teen crowd and say that they have info to release soon.

Alaska Law states that once a child is formally adopted. The adoptive parent can have a new birth certificate issued with the adoptive parents names as birth parents.

http://tiny.cc/GAXDB

"Within 30 days after an adoption decree becomes final, the clerk of the court shall, if requested by the adoptive parents, prepare an application for a birth certificate in the name of the adopted person. Upon issuing a decree terminating parental rights on grounds set out in AS 25.23.180 (c)(3) the court may order the preparation of an application for a birth certificate in the name of the child without reference to the parent whose parental rights have been terminated. The clerk of the court shall forward the application"

69. Can there be any doubt that a tell-all book is in Levi's future?
Where else is Levi going to make 6 figures?

75. While I may not be entirely impressed with Levi Johnston,
I do have some compassion for what he is up against. Look what the Palins' did to her brother-in-law, the state trooper. He was an adult with years of service in his chosen career path behind him. Levi is a young man, just starting out. If he does NOT keep this in the news, God only knows what Gov. Palin would try pulling on him the moment the spotlight leaves. I honestly believe, that at this point, for him, keeping it in front of the media is his only form of self defense.

If this story fades into 'yesterday's news', Gov Palin gets the upper hand and Levi Johnston is next on her hit list.

77. You're no doubt right about the Palin hit list.
I wonder if Levi realizes how deep a pile of dogshit he's in. He didn't exactly seem too bright, and may not get it.
