Ed Schultz and Chris Dodd slam BOA. |
|
It's about time. I went to the MSNBC site to re-watch the video and what does it open with? A BOA commercial. Oops! Dodd starts about 3:30 into the clip. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/30144683#30144069

2. Dodd is starting to do some damage control |
|
I understand his approval rating in Connecticut is down to 33%. (no link, sorry)
There's no way he's going to get another term unless he starts doing something for the folks who voted him in rather than the outfits who just gave him millions for reelection.

Sure the proposed regulations to keep the banks from increasing rates on existing balances or without a real reason is a good move, but what good will that do since the credit card companies are rapidly moving most accounts into the 20%+ range ahead of any regulation?
Without a new usury law to cap the rates they can charge these Senators are just pissing in the wind.
