If Texas can secede, then please, can Northern Virginia ...
tell the Repug-dominated legislature to take a flying fuck at a rolling donut and go our own way? We are the economic engine which drives the Commonwealth, and we are sick of having locally adopted socially liberal policies being overturned by Richmond.
You shit heads go merrily along voting to mandate school prayer and outlaw consensual sex, and don't forget to keep cutting taxes! Of course when NOVA, which pays the lion's share of VA taxes and receives about 70 cents on the dollar in return is gone, and you can no longer afford to pay teachers, cops, sanitation workers, road crews, or anyone else, you may have to re-think that whole tax thing. But in the meantime, fuck off.

1. Here's the funny part. If a state could secede it would have to raise taxes to fund a military and

and other functions a federal government does. Instead of lower taxes and less spending the residents would get higher taxes and higher spending.

6. And they'd have to go through the legal process to enter the US
Wouldn't want to have them crossing into the US illegally, would they? Not only that, but forget about them getting education or health care over here.

2. I would like to invite Eastern Washington
to withdraw from the union also and go the way of Texas...all the progressive liberal initiatives come from the Western side of the state and also along with the vast lion's share of taxes.

5. and then NoVa could leave the Confederacy and join the Union ...
I recommended the same thing awhile ago. Virginia has the most screwed-up state legislature around, full of mini-factions of Republicans that hate each other! as weird as can be. It is as progressive and regressive as a state can be, with the progressive all focused in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. where all the money is, too.

a new state flag?
