Canadian Charter plane hijacked at Sangster's Airport

The aircraft belongs to a charter company that does the Mobay, Jamaica - Santa Clara, Cuba - Canada route.

Mobay is a complete mess beyond the tourist hotel gates.
The illegal lottery and other crime has made that city the new crime capital.
Someone should have told the hoteliers and governments that you can't pack people into slums for cheap labor and not expect the social consequences we are now reaping. That said I have no idea who is responsible for this hijacking or the reasons why a lone gunman to hijack the aircraft.

Passengers had left the plane ages ago. For the past few hours it was the 'mentally challenged' man and the flight crew.

Now that we know he was from a prominent family, it does explain how he reached that far. The average Jamaican wasn't getting that close to the exit.
Someone called hubby and said the man was a well known cocaine user who went to rob the passengers. Sighs!!
