If the FBI had gotten the warrent for Mousaouis puter there would have been no torture.
Because there would not have been a 911. The Minneapolis FBI was not allowed to look at the computer due to bizarre "orders" from above even though now we find out that they were already doing illegal searches elsewhere for other reasons and the law would have allowed them to do a search.

With the legal search they may or may not have been able to prosecute Mousaoui but they would have stopped 911 that they were well aware of this group, this plot, because this home bound grandmother knew about the suspicious foreigners in the flight schools before Mousouii was arrested that and that the feds knew and were doing nothing, and knew about the PNAC's manifesto published on the internet calling for a new "Pearl Harbor" event to get them the leverage to ignore laws, treaties and do whatever they wanted.

There was enough evidence to convince ANY judge to grant a warrant IF THEY HAD ASKED.
