15. I love O'Donnell, but I must disagree here.

Having been prepped for torture in my jungle and sea survival schools on the way to Viet Nam, I agree with the premise that almost all, including the weakest, give up lies under torture. When you are flying the Ho Chi Minh Trail at night (low, unarmed .. and scared shitless) you have a lot of time to think about these things.

I'm a woos on the order of any of the Chickenhawks (the difference is I WAS THERE!). But I had some occasions to think long and hard about capture and torture. We all talked about it, because it was such a looming threat. The consensus: lie your MOFO ass off to the NVA, but if you got railroaded to the USSR (as many shot-down crypto guys did) .. well, kiss those boys good-by.

I think weak minds like Hannity would lie too. No. Not lie. Tell them what you think they want to hear. That was my mindset over the most hostile territory in the history of air warfare: Tchepone and the damned HCM trail.

This said, as much as I hate torture, mostly talked to people who were while gathering evidence for war crimes in CA that have yet to happen... I'd pay to see that MF get water-boarded. To see a grown man like Sean cry will be priceless.

Perhaps he'll even realize why it is torture. That of course would be giving him too much credit, but one can hope
