If Cheney's proof that torture works is in a folder labeled |
|
"Detainees" and he wants the part declassified that supposedly proves what he contends, what is the problem with declassifying the contents of the whole folder. Let's see what he was collecting in that folder. Kinda sounds to me like a collection of "souvenirs" that serial rapists/killers/etc collect.

1. I think he's bluffing... |
|
He'll get his request rejected, and he can use the old, "Well I'd show you if it wasn't classified" line.
Can't prove a negative, so he "wins" the argument by default. It's like a defendent being convicted because the exculpatory evidence can't be revealed. :wtf:
Either that, or the memos will be forgeries. Probably not any better than those Italian ones they used on Wilson.

2. Any "proof" will be as reliable as the WMD "proof" with Iraq |
|
Any bets he had files planted with bogus proof prior to leaving office?
