Breathing again..the bankruptcy bill will come back..after millions more lose their homes.. |
|
hopefully, by that time, there will be enough of a movement to stop this madness...hopefully, by that time, Obama will address the fact that banks who received bailout funds may not lobby congress..is that even possible?...perhaps by that time, even the blue dogs will have realized that they were voted for by real people, not corporations or lobbyists..
most probably, by that time, however....millions of us will be out of our houses..

1. I have a single female friend, just lost her job who is a home owner. |
|
She is already making plans to put her furniture in storage and a childhood friend whose husband (works for AIG, can you believe it?) has told her she could live with them as long as was necessary. Hopefully it won't come to that but she's wondering whether to continue paying her mortgage. Very bad times for many and my heart goes out to them.

4. Nothing has really changed for us. We can't get out of this mess with only |

the good intentions of our president. If he really wants to change the way things are being run into the ground by the banks, he will have to take control of the ones the taxpayers bailed out. I don't think anyone even was allowed to use the Homeowner's Financial Stability Act President Obama passed last month. The banks are not even contacting the people who qualify. At this rate there won't be any homes left to save. The banks know that all they have to do is wait us out....after all WE gave them the capital to carry them over in the meantime.
