The State of Florda has now OK'd Jesus License Plates. No One voted on it.. yet it became law.

So Much for free speech and rule of law.

The Golden Rule is: He who has the Gold... makes the rules.

2. My question is whether the "Choose Life" tag holders will

get new plates or keep the ones until their ten years are up. I stay many car lengths behind these types and don't park next to to their cars for fear of having to interact with them.

Good question on where this stands between not promote/not prohibit. Seems like a viloation of the not promote. But if a state didn't allow the letters LUVGOD that seems a violation of not prohibit.

Pretty sure they would balk at Satanists who wanted vanity plates with depictions of their religious beliefs.

Hell, do they have Muslim vanity plates? Would they allow for such things? Odds are, they WOULD prohibit a lot of religious expression, if it offended THEIR religion, which brings us back (via the slippery slope) to violation of the NOT PROMOTE portion.

If the real justification is 'not prohibit', Florida has to take all comers. It would certainly be an interesting court case. At the very least, it could result in many exploding heads.
