2. When he performed at the Lincoln Memorial

a couple of days before the Inauguration, it was so cold, and Pete was the only performer who wasn't all bundled up. He wore a watch cap, of course, and probably had some thermals under his flannel shirt and jeans, but, man, did he stand out!

Behind me, a young woman said to her friend, when Pete Seeger was introduced and came on, started signing, "I didn't realize Bob Seger was so OLD!"
