She has blossomed and has never looked more radiant or happier. She will be one of the best SOSs in American history.

Unfortunately, I have not seen any examples of her meriting this type of rating. I have to chalk it up to nothing more than PR. When she actually brokers something that turns out positive I might change my opinion, but for now this is nothing but positive Clinton media PR.

We really need steadiness at State right now, and I think her leaving the post at this time would be damaging. There will be other slots to fill even during Obama's first term.

No judicial experience whatsoever but let's dump her in the court and get her out of our hair.
Of course, bye-bye all those helpful fundraisers.
Secretary of State keeping her too much in the public eye for you?

would be a powerful and effective voice for liberalism on the Court. Soemtimes we think of such things because we admrie her, not ebcause we want to get rid of her. I would hate to lose her as SoC, though, ebcuase she is prefect there, but a SCOTUS seat would not be a demotion for goodness' sakes.

I suspect that if there's a second term or late 1st if an opening comes up, you could hear that talk, especially since Obama has expressed interest in getting someone from congress in the court.

He was disbarred because of his so called "perjury" over the blow job. Not going to argue over whether that should or should not have happened, but it did. And it doesn't make him a likely candidate for any judicial appointments.

as SoC, but she'd be great on the SCOTUS, and it's a lifetime appointment, so no one would be able to take it from her, either. She could have major influence for years.

I think she is qualified, but this is a lifetime appointment and we should be hoping for someone younger who will be there for 20 or 25 years.
