Gingrich: remove Iranian regime
WASHINGTON (JTA) -- Newt Gingrich addressed the AIPAC policy conference and called for ousting the regime in Iran and bombing its missile sites.

Gingrich, a former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and a likely presidential candidate in 2012, faulted the last Bush administration and the current Obama administration for engaging with Iran as long as it is led by theocrats who threaten Israel.

"We need to recognize that there are some regimes we will never be able to cut a deal with because they are in fact evil," he said Sunday, the opening day of this year's American Israel Public Affairs Committee policy conference, drawing close to 7,000 delegates.

10. Did you read this? Principalists endorsing the reform candidate over Ahmadinejad
http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=93366§ionid=351020101

"A group of Iranian Principlists disgruntled with the incumbent president's course of action has endorsed presidential candidate Mir-Hossein Moussavi.
"Time is approaching for the Principlist camp to pick its nominee for the country's tenth presidential elections. However, the camp is not pleased with the policies adopted by its current nominee," read a statement issued by the group on Saturday.
The group hit out at President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his administration for what they described as lack of "logic and expertise" in the management of the country. "

Can you imagine if McCain were in charge....

"Q: What’s your tripwire for a U.S. strike in Iran?
A: My greatest fear is the Iranians acquire a nuclear weapon and give it to a terrorist organization. And there is a real threat of them doing that. The trip wire is that if they acquire these weapons. "

3. Yup
We need to take over the world, eh, Newtie? PNAC, anyone?

Why not? We are the purest. We are the most powerful. We can do this. So what if we are going broke and the world hates us.

It is our God given duty to rule and to do unto others as we see fit.

6. I wish people who said things like that were required to be first in combat.
Why is that soo unreasonable? The guy CAN carry a gun, right? He and others like him who manipulate others to violence publicly could be in their own units, so when they go out on missions they wouldn't be endangering anyone who is there simply because s/he is doing his/her duty.

9. They are positioning themselves for 2010-12, to say "I'm strong on defense." AND they
lack the mental ability or responsibility for how to BE strong on defense without inciting more violence and hate against us around the World.

24. You know what, I just realized it isn't REALLY about being "strong on defense" It's about capitalizi
ng on recent investments made in Wars 'r' Us, Inc. - SLAVERY for the People of the U.S. in our division of the Trans-National Corporations who run Earth and who have hired the U.S. to be their private Enforcer. Being "strong on defense" is just the window dressing on Death and Destruction for Hire.

Our National Anthem: "Oh say, can you Xe . . . ?"

18. Grab The Cash, Gnewt....
There doesn't need to be any logic involved, just spew the hate to whatever group has a checkbook out and "rebuild" your "legacy".

Shows how far the rushpublicans have fallen to give this shitstain a second or is that third chance. He's the very reason his party now is in eclipse as the promises of his "Contract on America" turned out to be wrong and destructive. I guess he thinks our short attention spans will make some forget or that he just doesn't give a shit and just shoots off his mouth to get attention. Either way, he's irrelevant and the poster child for his dysfuncational party.

20. I am tired of the overt influence that Israel has on American politics.
They would like nothing more than to goad us into bombing Iran. Just how much influence did they have in taking us to war in Iraq? I am tired of them using the holocaust to justify their occupation of Palestinian territories and the destruction of Palestinian homes. I am certainly not anti-Semitic, but do they really what to make peace in the Middle East?

23. This is Newt talking, he is American
Also, the people who applauded his rhetoric were American.

I don't think Israel wants to goad us into bombing Iran and I certainly don't think Israel took us into the Iraqi War.

I've also never heard any Israeli "use the holocaust to justify their occupation of Palestinian territories and the destruction of Palestinian homes."

The Right Wingers in the US are still itching for a New World Order whether anyone else is behind them or not.
