1. Dear Lord God Almighty, we beseech thee to put it in the hearts
of thine idiotic believers to end this pointless day of prayer.

Amen.

4. I guess I will be, but only in the fact that I have prayed today as I do everyday

Don't need a day calling for it.

12. Why would any one need a special day to prey?
As I understand it, if you're a person of faith, you prey every day. Some believers hold that a person should be in a continual dialog with the divine.

If you're not a person of faith, well that would be hypocritical, no?

13. Now it's like 85% 'no'. However, there were about 70 people standing on the town square, praying
when I came back from lunch. I thought Jesus said something about that.

SCRIPTURE - Matthew 6:5-15

”And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him."

14. A truly silly concept -
if you are a true believer, then it would be a day just like any other.

If you are not, then what's the point? Just to piss off the non-believers? (BTW, that doesn't work either, because we just don't care what the believers do as long as they leave us alone.)
