3. Are there any wise people among that list?
most seem like syncophants.

I'm willing to be happily surprised, however.

Peace,

8. I see a lot of names on that list
that I like as they were front in center, working and supporting to get President Obama elected.

And, now they're going to the first White House Press Club Dinner with a Dem president in 8 years.

4. lol
Luke Russert listed under "high profile talent"? Though I guess he's not that much worse than some of the others I wonder if they are doing something for his dad.

Eh, I think this is a pretty dumb tradition.

12. To be fair, Luke Russert has cohosted an XM radio show with James Carville for years.
It's called "60/20 Sports." It began well before his father's death. He and Carville discuss sports from their varying age perspectives. Don't ask me how they got the gig, I'm just reporting it as fact.

14. "don't ask me how he got that gig"
Gee, I wonder...

Nepotism exists all of the time with journalism though, so it's not that much of a big deal.

6. oh yes
Sarah was supposed to go, but had to cancel because of flooding. Not sure why Todd is going in her place, but whataever. A guy from Politico was on MSNBC talking about Palin being a guest of Fox news today , and David Shuster said "Wait, what? She was a guest of Fox news? I'm.....just going to keep my mouth shut..."

10. "Toad" to those of us who know and love him (NOT).
I guess he's there to talk about snowmachines. He doesn't have the brains for anything else.

As for Sarah and the flooding, she did the typical Sarah - a flyby governor with no stopping.
