Spot the stupid

Spot the stupid in the following statement offered to me by an angry, grumpy, drunk old white man last night.

"Obama wants people making under 50 thousand to pay no taxes. How in a Democracy can you have people not paying taxes?"

I have no idea what the person was talking about. The statement must have sounded very intellectual when they heard it on Hannity or Rush or Glenn Beck but for the life of me I was struck funny by it's different layers of deep and profound stupid.

We ALL pay taxes, just not necessarily an income tax.

I can't keep track of their changing ideology anymore. Bush spending = good, Obama spending = bad. Personal responsibility = good, corporate responsibility = bad. Bush tax cuts = good, Obama tax cuts = bad.

if all the taxes are paid by those making less than $50,000 per year, then those making more than $50,000 per year will not have to pay any. It's a republican paradise. Rob the poor, give to the rich.
