I was at the gym while Obama was speaking about healthcare. All 7 teevees in front of the treadmills and cross trainers and stationary bikes were tuned to a news channel. As usual, pretty much all were represented ....... CNN. MSNBC, Faux, CNBC and Bloomberg, at least. ESPN may also have been on.

While Obama was speaking, this guy - a known FauxFan and unapologetic member of Club Backwash - sez: "Wow, just like Cheney and the oil companies, but with names."

The man's comment was a reference back to Cheney's oil buddies writing the energy policy for bushco.

Obama was speaking after the adjournment of his meeting with the health insurance, phrama, and medical businesses execs as a part of his writing his healthcare plan.

The man was commenting that it was like Cheney's meetings with the oil execs who wrote his energy policy ... the only difference being this time the people in the room were identifiable.
