10. I'd demand my money back, leave and never return.
I have no problem with movie trailers or concession stand ads but full fledged commercials are inexcusable. Anything political beyond a short film encouraging people to vote is way out of bounds as far as I'm concerned. Glen Beck would have me burning a path to the manager's office.

11. My family frequents a second run theater that WILL NOT show ANY commercials/previews
On top of that, the price is cheap, they use real butter on the popcorn, and were the only outlet in the area to run Mike Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11, and did so as a first run even tho they're a second run outfit.

13. You know, I actually like previews. Even though sometimes they're about nothing else than shitty
movies. But Cinemark (that's the theater company) now has full fledge commercials about cell phones and i don't even remember what other shit. It was a good 1/2 hour before the movie started. I usually frequent small independent theaters for independent and foreign flicks but this was Star Trek so i guess i deserve it. :)

15. I don't care for most mainstream movies, so the lack of bad acting/bad writing and BIG explosions...
...is rarely missed ;)

of this stuff from my childhood. I'm not proud of it at all. :P

19. Don't you find it creepy how EVERY movie trailer uses that one guy's voice?
Why on earth would anyone want that remarkable degree of cheeseball uniformity in promoting their film? Astonishing.

21. You know, I read that guy passed away recently. What will they do now???
Who will start every preview with "In a world....."? It's been a long ass time since I've been to a multiplex to see a popcorn flick. Imagine my surprise when I get bombarded with 50 commercials before the previews.

28. I have to go to Houston to see a movie I like.
We have a six-plex 20 miles away.

And we have an unoplex 15 miles away.

I have to go to Houston to the googolplex to see any movies I would care about.

I made up the words "googolplex" and "unoplex". Please hold your applause. :D :D

I crack myself up sometimes, I'm so clever.

12. Yup I went to go see Star Trek this weekend.............
and also had to sit through two commercials for Beck's little dumb comedy tour. When I go to the movies it's to get away from these right wing dumb fucks for a little while at least, but nope they are there too. DU seems to be the only place where I can escape the right wing idiots but even here we aren't safe (ie trolls). They are EVERYWHERE it's like a fucking plague!

16. It just shows how the idiots in our culture can feel 'intellectual' without
actually having an IQ higher than 64.

Poor Glenn...hey Beck I have a joke for you - what drinks booze until it falls down and then gets righteous about shit it knows nothing about? Need a hint? It actually views its' words as meaningful and respected among other famous quasi-intellectual jackoff artists.

27. Prediction
It will rival "An American Carol" and whatever Ben Stein's stupidity about public schooling was for box office depths. I see Glenn (the extra "n" is for "knowledge"!) Beck is at least smart enough to run this piece of celluloid crap only twice so as to avoid the rampant humiliation that will surely follow its screening.
