I've never know Donald Trump to show any awareness of people's sensitivities and I'm not surprised to see that he failed to show any such awareness today.

Simply, Carrie Prejean did more for Miss USA and Donald than that actual winner could have hoped to do and that's why she's still got her "state" crown.

That said, if Perez Hilton has simply expressed disappointment in Prejean's answer instead of calling her a bitch and a cunt the incident would have been a non-starter and Carrie Prejean would have been an obscurity in a year.

2. If the pageant people will pay to 'fix' boobs, why not hair?

3. ABS-O-LUTELY....Plus, it is prob getting...
harder to find contestants who haven't had creative artistic photos taken
of themselves...This way if prejean did it and she is sooo righteous and she
gets away with it...maybe, other creative models can run for miss USA, too.

4. Well it highlights the mindless sexist stupidity of the whole thing

So I'm not surprised. They parade these women out there like cattle, dressed down to the minimum so everyone can openly look at their 'assets' and they pretend that it's wholesome. As I see it if these women want to do that then more power to them, but don't pretend it's about purity and wholesomeness or Jesus or being gay or Christianity or marriage or civil rights. Don't pretend that fake breasts are somehow an outrage at these things either. It's about a very specific type of women's bodies that people like Donald Trump have decided is the perfect female figure. Stick figures with half basket ball shaped breasts jutting out of skeletal chests. In nature that doesn't exist which is why it's so easy to spot the fakes.

But I will say that I've known women who got implants that look like normal breasts and it has made them more self confident and happier and I think they're perfectly entitled to do what they want.

5. dead on!
be nice if people stopped pretending that winning a beauty pageant confers expertise in anything other than issues relating to the optimum presentation of your fuckability factor.

nothing wrong with porn, in its place, just stop SPREADing this all over the place and pretending it isn't.

7. I think he made the right decision, not just because of publicity.
She gave an honest answer. And the pics were tastefull nudes, not porn. I think he even mentioned that the contract allows for discretion by Trump, meaning the pics have to rise to the level of being pornographic. I agree with that. The pics I saw of her were very tame, and just topless.

I think if there was any reason to take the crown from her it was because she wasn't fulfilling her duties. But they seem to have worked that out. She actually wasn't a spokesman for a anti-gay group; she was just running around doing interviews.

I don't like her much. She's probably a christian conservative on most issues And I think she's an opportunist; thats why she called the controversy "a blessing". A blessing to her meant dollar signs, a book deal, fame etc... But I like her message of free speech and standing up for what you believe. Thats why she has struck a cord with people, not because shes against gay marriage.

9. I love how people that are normally for
free speech and pron and against prudes like christian conservatives are all the sudden worried about a couple topless shots.

Both sides do that. If this was a liberal girl for gay marriage, it'd be the right wingers thatd be all offended about the pictures and saying "think of the chillrun, think of MY chillrun!" lol

BTw for some reason I cant get past the first picture. When I click "next" it just reloads the same page. Ive see some of the other pics on other sites though. Like I said, theyre very tame.

10. Well, these tame picture will surly set the precedence for what...
will be allowed for future miss USA contestants. The prejean bar so to speak..
I wonder if this is what trump really wanted in the long run...more exposure for his girls..
