Ronald Reagan.

Whaaaa? I thought Ronnie "Deficits don't matter" was a Republican.

How come Saint Ronald McDonald here be spared the vitriol accorded everyone else?

Or was it Dick Cheney who said "Reagan proved deficits don't matter"? Is Unkie Dick a taxcut'n'spend liberal too? Gosh golly, no he isn't!!

Or are facts just useless things?

1. I remeber when Dicko said that
It impressed me that he seemed to have the knowledge of economics of the average 9th grader, if he could make a statement as ignorant as that!

I'm starting to realize Dick is not merely evil, but downright DUMB!

The type of person who has no problem gaming a system to bring ill gotten benifits to themselves and their cronies, seems blind to the fact that such actions, taken to their extremes, ultimately destroy the very system they are gaming...

4. Well, was it back when Ronnie was a California Hollywood Democrat?
"Deficits don't matter" - Actually I'm surprised the Republicans would have issue with htat statement, since it's kind of the core of free-market thinking. In the free market, debt accrued doesn't matter so long as you're still making money.
