So i just see a segment on O'Reilly blaming the press for losing the war, my question
if the war is "Won" whatever that really means do the press credit for the victory? why am i watching---John Kerry and Theresa Heinz Kerry are being interviewed by him tonight.

the premise that the press can lose or win a war is ridiculous imo.

1. Maybe 'the press' didn't buy enough ...
... "Support the Troops" bumperstickers -- which, as well all KNOW, is the deciding factor in any war.

2. It's a Republicon thing
These people actually belive that if no one actually knows the war is lost that it isn't really lost.
They think that getting away with lying is right and getting caught lying is wrong.
They are a totally delusional and amoral bunch that should probably be consigned to Bedlam.

3. Faux News is supposedly the top rated news chanel. BillO has a prime time TV show on that network,
plus a nationally syndicated radio program.

He IS the press.

4. It is the press' fault entirely
I mean, it was the press, not duh-bya, f**k-u, rummy, et al, that planned the war.
DUHbya was opposed to the war, but the press insisted on invading,
provided all the lies and distortions about NIger and Al-qaeda connections,
the press said those famed 16 words,
the shock and awe campaign,
dismantling the baathists,
the no-bid haliburton contracts,
the strategery for securing (ie not securing iraq),
the freedom fries non-sense,
the firing of all those generals that disagreed with their analysis,
the lack of armor for the vehicles,
et al

DUH-bya was opposed to all of those things

5. just for fun, Blowhole was responding to someone who emailed him about Ann Coulter
trashing the Jersey girls and he says--"excuse me we called out Mr. Coulter, i mean Ms. Coulter" swear to god.
