Report: Karl Rove to testify tomorrow -to prosecutor
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2009/05/14/1933110.aspx

Posted: Thursday, May 14, 2009 5:58 PM by Mark Murray

From NBC's Pete Williams
Karl Rove's lawyer says the Republican political strategist has indicated before that he'd be willing to talk to the prosecutor looking into the firings of U.S. attorneys that took place under Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

"Mr. Rove has consistently said he would cooperate with the investigation," said his lawyer, Robert Luskin. Luskin declined to specify the time or place for Rove's interview, said by the Washington Post to be Friday. Government officials familiar with the process do not deny the Post story.

The prosecutor, Nora Dannehy, is the acting U.S. attorney in Connecticut. She was given the assignment of sorting out the U.S. attorney firings last fall, by Michael Mukasey, who was then attorney general.

2. I'd make time for that
maybe they should round up some of the Abu Gharib soldiers and see what they would like to do with Karl for what he (they) did to those "few loose cannons"

3. I don't like this at all - Dannehy was appointed by Mukasey
this is still the Bush folks - will Mary Patrice Brown be involved in this?

Damn it to hell, they are preventing DOJ nominees from getting the office, they are obstructing nominations and the bush folks are still "active".

Cooperating with investigator/prosecutor can be used to keep him from giving sworn testimony to congress.
