1. I wonder if she did not really realize how evil they were? |
|
If she was keeping herself in a bubble denying the evil she had to work with?

2. She may have been able to impeach in the House, |
|
but I seriously doubt that enough votes to convict could have been gained in the Senate.

10. yep. I was thinking the very same |

today. Bill Clinton did the same thing. You'd think someone would figure out the publican play book and do something different. I fear I'm watching Obama do the same thing.

12. And She Would Have Done This How?? |
|
Wave a magic wand? Somehow convince 33 rushpublican Senators who were hellbent on enabling the boooosh regime to the btter end to change their minds? And if the House were to have passed out articles of impeachment (which wasn't a sure thing...especially among the blue dogs) and it failed in the Senate, then it would have been her fault as well. There weren't the votes to impeach and any failed impeachment would have vindicated and exonerated that regime. At least now we have a lot of questions...no pardons and a chance to get at the real truth...something a political impeachment never would have addressed...as well as the war crimes.

22. if you wish to lead, if you wish to have integrity, some things you do |
|
because they are RIGHT. Dennis Kucinich read the impeachment articles because he has integrity and knows that to lead means to take stands because they are the best for the country. Pelosi apparently likes her perks too much to do something that might not pass but will be remembered in history as just. too bad for us all.

and government employees inside of Bush administration itself.
And many did, but in 2002, it seemed to most, there was not enough pushing back.
Most went along, giving the Bush group the benefit of the doubt, unable to imagine that our own government could be doing so many ill advised, and even evil things.
And if Pelosi would of stood up then, would we have helped, and backed her up? Or would we have believed a Rove manipulated media narrative created about her?
Are we backing her up now, she is standing pretty tall right now, how are we standing?

18. Nancy Pelosi needs to use her leadership position to get a special prosecutor appointed |
|
Working together, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Eric Holder can still set up a special prosecutor to investigate the Bush Administration and bring charges against those who have committed crimes.
It is not too late - but if Pelosi keeps dilly-dallying around it may very soon become too late.
