We are good people but not very deep.
Not bad, just busy,
Not immoral, just distracted
Not lacking in soul, just preoccupied
Not disdaining depth, just lacking practice.

After talking to others, I've decided the last sentence isn't strong enough.
Maybe something like " Desiring peace but minus commitment ."



Millions marched in the streets and committed acts of civil disobedience to say there are no WMD

Thousands dressed up in orange jumpsuits and black hoods standing on corners and walking through down towns to say our country is torturing and we demand it stop.

and Millions wrote, petitioned, and protested to hold those people accountable.

The Leadership in Congress and those in the Administration need to stop lying and saying they didn't know. We the people knew.. just cause you want to ignore us, we still knew and told you.

5. Oh they did know - I lived in KY in 2000 and after 9/11 I had written myself silly

begging Mitch McConnell and Bunning not to allow this travesty to go down. The canned response was basically, Oh well, I think we should "keep our country safe" and I'll vote to go to Iraq. So yes we knew and we begged and talked to so many people and they all did what they wanted - They were the ones with the power to make it happen their way. :cry: It was/is so very frustrating.

If they started the hearings or prosecuting before more pictures came out then maybe the US would have some redemption .

Pictures are already out, they show them on Arab networks. I remember back when Abu Graib pictures came out there were ones of woman being raped and force to give oral.. the soldiers grabbing the woman's hair to hold. It was sickening.

They need to stop discussing and start the hearings and prosecutions.

I'm so sick of the debates !
