How does anyone in their right mind accuse Obama of being the most pro abortion person in history? |
|
What has he done, said, or caused to happen that is more than any mainstream person left of the middle of the Republican party's members?
Why is debate on this bullshit allowed to occur on teevee?
Never mind the last line. I *know* the answer to that one.

Anyone to the right of Gandhi is a fascist, ultraconservative, militaristic, corporate stooge.
When the extremists are creating the definitions, they can be, shall we say, a bit extreme.

Remember all the uproar over that "medical care to victims of botched abortions" legislation that he voted against (after voting for an earlier similar measure) in the Illinois legislature? Oh, and I'm sure he eats fetuses for breakfast, lunch, and dinner too!
:eyes:
Seriously, whatever the wingnuts' pet issue is, you'll find that the person/group they're attacking is ALWAYS the most............. OR the most pro-................... OR the most anti-...............
Did you see the montage that Media Matters(?) put out during the election last year that looked at clips of Fox News in 2004 alongside clips of Fox News segments in 2008 showing how John Kerry and Barack Obama both held the title of "the most liberal US Senator"- during their respective campaigns? The comparison and near identical-ness between the news segments- four years apart- is stunning to say the least!

10. Nobody is "pro abortion". They may support a woman's right to choose |
|
but that doesn't mean that they want a person to have an abortion. Who goes around saying "I think I'm gonna try to get pregnant so I can have an abortion."
He can be pro choice, but not pro abortion. It is the most ridiculous argument there is.

14. The abortion issue is a campaign carrot -- Republicans know damn well that |
|
they can simply state "I'm pro-life!" and get millions of votes. Of course, they won't actually do anything about it -the issue is too valuable as a political tool. You'd think the anti-choice voters would have caught on after more than three decades... but no.
