I don't get it, do the terrorists HAVE to take a detour into Iraq before coming over here?

And how will they get here, last time I checked, Al Qaeda's Navy and Air Force weren't exactly, well, existent at all. But, this war did increase Al Qaeda's power projection, they weren't in Iraq before, but now they are.

5. Why do they have to follow us home anyway?

If they are so stupid they can't get here without following us, they really aren't the kind of terrorists we need to worry about are they? And couldn't they follow some of us home like say when McCain flies back to the US, couldn't they follow him?
