This is basically Cheney's and the Republicans argument for torture in a nut shell. Heads of state, including Saddam Hussein, have the right to use torture to defend their nation. There goes Plan B. Did they give a Plan C reason for their otherwise illegal invasion of Iraq? The worst part is that Bush Co. Had already used and was using torture WHILE condemning Saddam Hussein's uses of torture. This is how the DOJ can prove they knew torture was both wrong and illegal. Their own condemnations of Saddam's uses of torture.

1. I said the same thing before his "trial"
The Bush administration's list of "charges" against Saddam could easily be applied to the Bush administration. As could the Bush administration's justification for their actions.

Hypocrisy squared...

6. Richard Nixon is the entire reason I'm no longer a republican.
I guess he was good for something after all. He got me in the right party.
