Nancy Pelosi is guity as hell ......... |
|
....... of holding a really inarticulate, disjointed press conference.
That doesn't change the facts and doesn't prove a fucking thing ....... except she is a sometimes bumbling public speaker.

That they would actually use those techniques.
She thought it was some sort of history lesson, of course.

it really is a moot issue. Reasonable doubt goes to the defendant--even in a kangaroo court.

14. No, it's not moot. The scary part is that Mrs. Pelosi, one of the most powerful Democratic |
|
"leaders" in the United States, was told that the Bush administration was going to use, or was already using "enhanced interrogation techniques", yet she did and said NOTHING about it.
The only reasonable doubt based on what I have read and heard from Pelosi and others who were briefed is that they gave enough of a damn to try to prevent this outrageous action by BushCo.
She's falling back on the "well, I didn't know the WHOLE story, and besides it was classified information" alibi and it doesn't fly with me.

6. Yes, she is a bumbling speaker. |
|
Edited on Sun May-17-09 10:50 AM by tabatha
I have heard maybe two callers to talk shows say that she is guilty because of the way she stumbled.
But, I have heard her stumble since the day she was made Speaker. Sometimes, it is just too awful to listen to her - I don't why the Speaker of the house would be such a bad speaker, but that is just the way it is.
Her stumbling is not an evidence of guilt, but just the result of poor speaking skills.

It is funny, though, when I hear Reich-wing callers on news shows say that her ridiculous presentation is "proof" of her guilt.....

8. The republican hate machine is triangulating the left's generalized disapproval of... |
|
and sometime-mistrust; even hatred of Nancy Pelosi against *both* Pelosi and the left itself then the whole gummy, sticky ball against the Obama Admin and it's working. A near utopian ideal at times; the moral high-ground is one thing which the republican party thinks it already occupies. People contributing to that brand of odd republican thinking are doing Karl Rove's heavy lifting for him and for, by extension: Limbaugh, Hannity, the GOP, etc

I hate to tell you, they're politicians, they lie for a living.

11. Yes politicians lie like rugs, but the bigger picture.. |
|
Well considering that CIA draws most of its higher echelon officers from the Skull n Bones--- By the Russells whose family money came from the 'China trade' which was shipping Opium into China over the objections of China's government. I know there is a lot of details lacking here but I would have to have several pages just to get the basics. If someone wants to argue. Google up Russels, Skull and Bones and Thule society. Rich bois who have no morals other than being corporates thugs. They also helped get many Nazis out of Germany to avoid being implicated in the looting of Europe. Who knows what they will say to CYA? They also gave new identities to a lot of those Nazis and hired them. They are seriously corrupt. In 1833 Skull and Bones was formed as the US compontent of the Thule Society, which eventully became the group that was the basis of Hitlers SS.. That in itself is not proof they are a bunch of murderous thugs, but it sure makes a good start on saying that they are institutionally based on lies, corruption and murder. I know there is a lot of details lacking here but I would have to have several pages just to get the basics. If someone wants to argue. Google up Russels, Skull and Bones and Thule society. I have already done all the research possible short of going to the Library of Congress. Some that was online mysteriously got 'classified' after I had sorted through it, and I was locked out especially after looking into the Bush family connections. Wiki has some of it.

16. Pelosi is paying the price for her complicity. |
|
Not her complicity in this torture issue, mind you. It's the complicity in saying that "impeachment is off the table."
She bent over the dumpster willingly for Republicans when they were the majority party. She gave in to their demands. She refused to stand up to any convictions except getting along with those in power.
As a result, when this incident blew up, she had no moral character to rely upon. She had no spirit to say that she was doing the right thing. All she can do is hem and haw and make excuses.
Stinky, oh Clown That No One Can Stand Next To, Pelosi is far stinkier than you.

19. You are correct. So, let's stop all this nonsense about prosecuting her... |
|
and vote her the fuck out of office.
She rumbled, bumbled, and stumbled because she's a horrible liar. Some are good at it, some aren't. She isn't.
Her political career was what was paramount to her, nothing else. That remains true. Convince me otherwise, and hold the "she couldn't talk about the briefing" bullshit. It ain't flying any longer. Her career was more important, and people were tortured while she was being handed her gavel. Forget that she, in short order, "took impeachment off of the table".

Let's face the facts: Dems were and still are complicit in * & Co crimes.
Hell, most of Congress is complicit and we must not turn a blind eye to this kind of evil-no matter if someone has a "D" next to their name or not.
Wake Up America! The majority of the politicians in Washington DC are as corrupt as hell!!! :argh:
edited to add: Karma is a kick in the ass isn't it?! Pelosi should have put Impeachment on the table when she had the chance.
