So am I wrong to infer that Bushco was on a Crusade
as W publicly stated. Why else would Rummy (that fugging Dummy) have the cover page of his daily brieg full of biblical quotes? Did these ignorant torture loving war criminals really believe that winning an illegal invasion and occupation was about having some god on your side?

This planet is fugged - totally and completely.:puke:

2. I think Rummy was cynically manipulating the simple minded bush
by including the biblical references in the daily reports.

Personally I don't believe Rumsfeld and/or Cheney actually know jack shit about the bible or even give a rats ass.

But they both knew bush was gullible enough to really believe he was on a mission from god. So they pumped him full of all this god crap to keep him jacked up enough to do the things they wanted done.

5. Historians will note this as the Chickenhawk Crusade
Edited on Mon May-18-09 04:13 PM by SpiralHawk
Led by -- and lied about and propagandized by -- an all-Republicon, all-Chickenhawk band of Fail Freaks, with Commander AWOL Bush, and Dickie 'Five Military Deferments' Cheney at the top of the Republicon Chickenhawk Heap.

17. All Republican? Really?
And what will they say about the next war? Which, given this country's history, is inevitable and will be imperialist with bogus justifications, as usual.

And what do you say about the Democrats who voted for the Iraq war resolution, not to mention repeatedly to finance Afghanistan and Iraq, and who went along with USA PATRIOT, Homeland Security, Military Commissions, John Warner Defense Act, and all the Global War on Terror rhetoric for years? And who pass a war machine budget every year that swallows most of the discretionary spending (that would be most of your income tax) and almost exceeds the war machine budget of every other country combined? (Declining dollar exchange rates notwithstanding...)

Would that it were as simple as pushing one party out of power.

8. I would agree with the intent, but not the implementation.
The Knights Templar actually FOUGHT IN BATTLE! BushCo is a collection of COWARDS!

Pink Floyd had it right: " 'FORWARD', he cried, from the rear, and the front ranks died."
