If Bush does Veto the bill... |
The democrats should repeal all the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, to pay for THEIR war.

The super wealthy always duck out on the fighting and their paying for their freedom and liberty.
Edit no other pResident in the history of our country, has given a tax cut in a time of war. Bush has given the richest people in the country, four tax cuts since 9/11!

tax cuts for the wealthy IMMEDIATELY ... and with extreme prejudice.

8. Repeal the cuts AND put in some temporary increases for the top 2% |
to re-coup what we lost to them at a time of war.
Giving them a break while borrowing money from China to fight a needless war to further enrich many of the top tier is just plain obscene!

4. I like it. The only thing Bush's base loves more than Bush is their money. |
Hit them where it hurts the most, right in their fat wallets.

Though probably by letting the tax cuts expire, I would guess. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

11. If it is only the House then we can do it. I know that in the past when |
we found ourselves in power only in the House we still had the power to stop funding. If so we need to go for it.

That's why it was safe for Dems to vote for more funding for the war.

13. I can't ever remember a single time when Bush has told the truth. |
Half truths is about as close as he gets.
