Are we so proud of our War on Terror if attacks increase outside of the US? |
|
Is our strategy to prevent attacks here at all costs only, and turn a blind eye when they increase in the rest of the world?
Mumbai London Madrid Algeria Iraq Afghanistan Pakistan Indonesia Egypt Israel
These are all countries that have seen terrorist attacks in the years after 9/11. If we are so worried about some sort of Arab/Muslim/Persian conspiracy, how can the GOP be so irrationally happy that terrorism is spreading everywhere else because of their 'efforts' at the cost of not having one attack here.
We really don't give a shit do we?

2. i think the country as a whole needs to drop the 'no attacks here' as a goalpost for success |
|
i dont think obama can do anything about this. the country is under the illusion that terrorism is o.k. if it happens anywhere other than here, and that is the single biggest factor in ensuring that if we continue to behave the way we do abroad, that terrroism will increase.
there is also the antipathy that the GOP has for its actions, as long as it happens to other people. its sick.
