I delivered at a DC in Alachua on Tuesday, ran down to Belle Glade to pick up a load of sweet corn that afternoon, and spent the night in Fort Pierce before leaving for home the next day.

Rained like hell every second I was in Florida.

Not that you guys don't need it, but, c'mon already.

And the barometric pressure is back up some. It was feeling like a tropical storm or hurricane there for a while!

We even got a little sunshine for a while but by the time I got ready to do something, the rain was back.

29. No Kidding!

29 inches so far in our county and we're still getting rain. My boys school was flooded and so far the school has been closed two days. What a mess!
In just under a week we have went from 650+ on our drought index to 24. I think I'll take the rain over the fires though.

15. Just came in - been out painting a motorcycle

Gonna be pretty - three shades of candy blue over white or silver over black and then five coats of clear. Only screwed up one part (side cover) that will have to be reshot tomorrow but that's OK because I have a set of old Harley tanks that I have to reshoot tomorrow anyway.

19. I have a beer...

and am planning to whip up a quesadilla on my quesadilla contraption. I took my dog for a long walk and am now on my laptop by my back porch, looking out into the woods, the blue sky (anyone who lives in the Pacific NW knows what a treasure this day is), and my now-thriving houseplants that were moved outside last weekend. I also feel the cool breeze coming in from the open sliding glass door. My dog is peacefully asleep at my feet and I'm getting a rather nice beer buzz after an uncharacteristically easy day at work where they let us go two hours early with pay after a meeting on how we did not meet revenue for the quarter= after showing us a slide show with gorgeous nature pics and enlightening quotes because my big, lovable teddy bear of a boss did not want to give us bad news on a Friday. I had to hold back tears- god that would have been embarrassing to weep in front of my co-workers over gorgeous pics of animals and insects. And one of the enlightening quotes my boss had in there was for us to go out and have great sex, LOL.

On edit: I should say that I'm 45, so I'm not exactly going out clubbing tonight, but I wish all those who are a wonderful time. Done that, and have very fond memories. :)

25. Taking a break from weekend Yard Sale preparations. Too hot

to keep it up without a little rest now and then. They(customers) will be here at the crack of dawn so I have to set up before sunrise. Help arrives at 6:30. Wish it was al little earlier. I haven't had a YS for years and I understand that it is quite a show first thing.

Praying for no rain because this stuff is not coming back in.
