The airwaves here are being flooded by personal injury lawyer commercials. |
|
Why is that? I can see lawyers who dealt with real estate having a hard time finding customers but why so much advertising by the injury group? Or are the real estate lawyers switching to a new line of work??

I thought I had seen the last of that ambulance chasing asshole when I moved from New England to North Carolina
but then about a month or two ago, I saw one ad on a local station and since then it has snowballed
He must have bought up some national advertising

5. Because of the poor economy... |
|
...people are desperate as hell. They are more likely to file a personal injury claim if they're unemployed or on the brink of losing their home. People need the money.
These attorneys understand this, and they are no better than the "We'll buy your gold!" commercials.
It's just businesses capitalizing on a down economy.

PI Laywers have always loved radio for their cattle calls...to get as many litigants as they can in a case, make a ton off the settlement and throw a few peanuts to those who were really wronged. Radio is ideal for these types as the advertising, especially now, is very cheap and reaches that 35-55 year old who is most likely to be involved in one of those suits.
Bottom line in radio right now is they'll sell to anyone...strip clubs, peenie drugs, how to make a million at .... and many operations that can't get onto teevee or can't afford it.
