COULD this be what Repubs fear most in Sotomayor's Nomination to the SCOTUS?
Sotomayor is reported to have very little money or other material possessions.

How can a multi-national corporation or someone who falls within the richest 1% of all Americans possibly hope to receive the Court's assistance in maintaining their power and wealth with a judge like Sotomayor sitting on the SCOTUS?

Empathy with the less wealthy and less fortunate is like deadly venom to Repubs and their supporters, to be avoided at all costs.

6. She won't be needing any future campaign contributions, that is for sure...
And it must strike fear in the hearts of those who believe well placed campaign contributions are what make government bend to their every desire.
