But this poll is poorly worded if you want to get at that specific aspect.... There are pro-GLBT lawyers who would argue that the "legal" decision was valid, despite deploring the outcome....

6. Wasn't this about the legal process?

I agree that marriage is something that should be afforded to everyone in a relationship that's defined as legal in the eyes of the law (consenting adults, not related, no your donkey, etc), but I think that this court decision was more about the process of going about making a constitutional amendment than on gay marriage itself. I think the constitutionality of it is something which would need to be decided in a separate case.
