1. I was in a movie theater in Visalia, CA when I heard about it
watching "The Graduate". My neighbor came in and sat right in front of us and told me about it.

2. I was watching an afternoon rerun of "The Flinstones" with my sisters
...when a text crawl came over the bottom of the screen...

I asked my mom to tell me, again, who Martin Luther King was. She told me, and asked "why?"

"He's been shot," I said.

She sat bolt upright, tears started to come to her eyes, and she started to make phone calls...

It was one of the worst birthdays of my life. Also the worst year considering RFK was assassinated. :dem:

7. The Neo-Cons cemented everything that year: Nixon got in
on the bodies of the murdered, and except for the glitch of Watergate, the same sleazy muderous rubes have been recycled under St. Reagan and now the Bushes, destroying everything America was, or might have been...

JFK ... RFK ... MLK ... Watergate ... The "Reagan Revolution" ... it's astounding how the same names keep
cropping up in all those situations, all connected to one name -- Bush.
