Missing Pa. mom who claimed she was "kidnapped by 2 black men" found at Disneyworld
The frantic search for Bonnie Sweeten and her 9-year-old daughter - which began after she called 911 Tuesday to report that they had been kidnapped in Bucks County - ended Wednesday night at Walt Disney World.

Sweeten, 38, and daughter Julia Rakoczy were taken into custody at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa around 8:40 p.m., the FBI said. Sweeten was being held by authorities in Orange County, Fla., and her daughter was safe.

Sweeten will be extradited to Bucks County, where she faces charges of making a false report and identity theft, both misdemeanors. The investigation is continuing into possible theft charges, said Bucks County District Attorney Michelle Henry.

Orginal story -

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police on Wednesday were searching for a woman and her young daughter after the mother called 911 to report that they had been abducted in broad daylight by men who rear-ended their car.

Bonnie Sweeten, of Feasterville, made the cell phone call Tuesday, saying she was locked in the trunk of a car, police and the FBI said. She told a 911 dispatcher that two men abducted her and 9-year-old Julia Rakoczy after the men's car struck her SUV around 2 p.m.

It is not clear whether the 38-year-old mother knew the two men. Sweeten, who is white, described them only as two black men.

1. If only she could be sentenced whatever 2 black men kidnapping a blonde white woman & daughter...
would get from an all-white jury.

Because I'm all for equality.

6. A week in the "It's a Small World" attraction would do it.

Having to listen to that song for a week would be a punishment worse than death.

12. Oh you had to do that didn't you. I've been to Disneyland a thousand times (or so it seems)
and every time I come home with that song in my head.

Thanks. Thanks a bunch. I'll be cursing the name lpbk2713 tonight every time I wake up to roll over.

Interesting side note: I have 8mm movies from 1956 of my Mom, my Aunt, my Uncles, and my Grandparents, taken at Disneyland in 1956. My Grandpa (may the Great Spirit rest his soul) and Uncles all wore slacks, shirts and ties, and my Mom, Aunt, and Grandma (who went to her grave sure that The Great Spirit's name was God, RIP) all wore poodle skirts and heels. It's SUCH a strange thing seeing my Mom as a teenager in moob'm pitchas (that was my Grandma's term for movies, aka moving pictures) YEARS before she met my Dad.

I also have movies of my Parents' wedding and reception, leading up to the moment they left in my Grandparents' car on their honeymoon (YUK I don't want to go there!). All in all, I have about 60 8mm movies. Some include ME! My favorite one is of me sitting on a blanket in the middle of the living room floor with a popsicle, crying. I asked my Dad why I was crying and he said I couldn't eat the popsicle fast enough and it made me mad... WTF does HE know anyway...

This one's for you. Thanks again, for nothing. LOL

it's a world of laughter, a world or tears
its a world of hopes, its a world of fear
theres so much that we share
that its time we're aware
its a small world after all

CHORUS:
its a small world after all
its a small world after all
its a small world after all
its a small, small world

There is just one moon and one golden sun
And a smile means friendship to everyone.
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small small world

CHORUS

Kinda pertinent though, when you think about it. Walt saw the future. He may not have written the song, but he knew...

13. I have to wonder if the workers there get extra pay.

I'd be homicidal at the end of a shift there.

We were stuck for about 25 minutes there once. I was about
to start wading out when the boats started to move again.

5. WHY in the world would she do that? Did her husband say they couldn't
go so they made up this story? I'll be interested to hear what the story is, but I also hope she gets billed for all the hours spent by the investigators who hunted them! That's what they did with the run away bride here in Ga. and it should happen to this nutball too!

7. I admit that the story sounded fishy to me from the beginning
and, I think, the local police thought so too, while not saying so.

Whenever a white woman accuses black man or men for committing a crime, it just does not sound credible.

16. Why wouldn't a white woman accusing a black man of a crime sound credible
Just because this woman lied doesn't mean that another woman isn't telling the truth. I don't understand your logic.

21. Remember some 20 years ago, when a woman in Boston blamed a black
man of pushing her car with kids into a river, then we found out she did it?

And another woman in the south someplace, who also found her child a hindrance for dating a new man and pushed the car into the lake and blamed a black man.

I don't remember the details and perhaps am mixing some facts and perhaps I should have added the phrase "hard to believe." Yes, black men attack white women, perhaps steal their cars, their purses, or rape them. But to push a car with kids into a river or a lake, or to put a mother and a child in the trunk of a car - a Cadillac - these stories just do not sound credible and, as I commented, it appeared that the law enforcement person who was interviewed on TV was skeptical, too.

No, that was Charles Stuart, who killed his pregnant wife, and blamed it on a black man. :)

25. Oops, sorry. Still imaginative stories to blame black men
on preposterous stories. At least in this case the woman and her daughter were found alive.

And, I think that even law enforcements are now wiser to such fantastic stories.

29. Because usually when white women tell stories with really vague descriptions of black men
they turn out to be bogus stores used to cover up shit they've done. It's not exactly a new phenomena. Hell it's not only white women who do it. Does the name Charles Stuart ring a bell?

8. You know Feasterville is an odd place
I think it is (or at least was initially) the home of the "Make a Wish foundation" which is always seeming to send kids and adults with terminal illnesses off to Disney World to have their last wish fulfilled.

I always have thought it weird and sick that going to Disney world should be the way a person can crown their life...it just seems so trite.

And now, weirdly a woman from Feasterville fakes her own near death experience just to take a trip to Disney world. I ask you. Isn't life stranger than fiction? You really can't think of stories as good as this without seeming far fetched.

15. How Did She Make It Through Airport Security?.......
I heard she used an alias. Was the TSA sleeping on their job.

Also - I was surprised that the news media kept talking about her calling from the trunk of a car. Seems to me if her abductors heard that they would do her bodily harm. Seemed irresponsible at the time that the media would announce that - unless they knew right from the start that it was bogus.
