FBI was notified that Roeder was at Tiller's clinic the day before his death
<snip>
A worker at the Kansas City clinic said that Mr. Roeder was suspected of gluing the clinic’s locks years ago and that he had been seen trying to do the same thing before dawn on Saturday, the day before Dr. Tiller’s death.

The worker, who would not give his name out of concern for his safety, said he called the Federal Bureau of Investigation about Saturday’s incident and about a similar incident involving Mr. Roeder a week earlier.

I'd like to know more about this. Considering Roeder's history, why wasn't he taken much more seriously?

1. Because law enforcement is concentrating on left wing groups..
Like they did at the RNC..

Anti war protests are far more threatening to the establishment than are murders of abortion providers.

2. The locks at a clinic here in KC were super glued twice in the last month
Let's hope that was Roeder and no one will copy cat him.

3. Maybe they did take him seriously
Maybe they just didn't think the man would show up to a church with a loaded weapon.

4. Well he's in custody NOW, they need to send in Cheney's men for "enhanced interrogations"
just kidding :evilgrin: about the Cheney part. But since he is in custody they need to do a thorough investigation of his associates. Apparently he belonged to several RW groups.

:kick: & RRRRRRRR
