Is Pelosi going to be President soon? |
|
Sure seems like she is being postured to demonstrate her ample capability at clean up the mess around the world. First Syria and now Saudi? You Go Girl!
I like Pelosi best at the moment. I know little about her and my imagination fills in that she is represents the progressive ideals of that are the spirit of California. I have heard nothing about her that is dispallettable.
Perhaps they already have the entire administration removal planned and need to have her ready for the transfer.
Would be wonderful!

26. Dog sit for the Chimp? Only at the Hague! |
|
My dream is to be standing outside the Hague and cheering when they bring his gang in for the TRIAL of the Century.
I would gladly watch Barney while they are carried out in chains.
Now that President Pelosi (it has a certain ring to it) is on the horizon, dreams are taking form!

No sense blaming Barney for the last 6 years.
He's the only one in the administration who knows what he's doing.

This lady has no fear and is a natural leader. I'd like to know more about her too, but from what I've seen, she'd get my vote for President.

I don't think it is planned but suspect that they do want to have her meet with a few folks around the world in order to prepare, just in case some of the many MANY crimes stick to this administration. If the two of them were simultaniously impeached she could confidently step right in the WH imo. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x575284

no doubt. otherwise there is no reason for HER to go all these places.
They all know Bush is done and they're doing a meet and greet to set agendas and expectations.

16. Would that she would; |
|
As it is I fear congress would have to be far more balltastic than it actually is. But we may be getting to the point where a need for change is so blindingly obvious even they can't ignore it.

23. I am a Hillary fan but when it comes to Pelosi |
|
I'd rather have Pelosi as president. Both of them have formidable resumes. Both can solve the massive problems the chimp has caused. But, Pelosi has a more progressive/radical political bent.
She could become president. Bothoth Cheney and Bush rcould esign due to the current scandals.
That would be the best possible scenario.

25. President Pelosi? Mebbe |
|
I'm beginning to think that there's a good chance, if not necessarily a strong one, that Nancy Pelosi may become President. Things have turned very, very interesting since Gee Dubya boasted that he had political capital and that he intended to use it after the 2004 election.
I suspect that there might be enough evidence coming out of the Executive Branch from now until the end of the year to implicate George HW's and Barbara the Elder's beamish boy in something that the authors of the Federalist Papers would consider well within the bounds of "high crimes and misdemeanors" and certainly far bigger than the charges rolled out against former president Clinton. I very much doubt that Dubya, Rove, Cheney, et al have done THAT good a job of vacuum-cleaning their files and hard drives of incriminating stuff. Certainly the 'Pugs have lowered the bar for raising the matter of impeachment.
As for the Veep, I have doubts that he's all that healthy. Even with the best of care, I think that his health might not stand the strain of whatever else that is likely to happen during the coming months AND if congressional representatives move from merely talking about the possibility of impeachment to actually starting the process.
President Pelosi? Even if my math-impaired cognition gives the likelihood less than fifty-fifty odds at this point, I think that it's now possible.
