"U.S.Terrorists." "Christian Terrorists." Hmmm.
Why have we not heard this phrase when Islam deals with "Islamic Terrorists" and "Muslim Terrorists" and then "terrorists" attached to individual countries (never ours), like "Iranian Terrorists" and Palestinian Terrorists"????

What is Tiller's killer but a "U.S., Christian terrorist"?

(And if O'Reilly was calling protestors who blocked streets in demonstrations post-9/11 "TERRORISTS", how can he NOT see Tiller's killer as one?)

2. Interesting point.
I agree. If some church had been attacked the way this clinic has been the Thugs would be calling it terrorism. The killer would have been charged under our terrorism laws, I have no doubt. It is time to use these tools that we have and charge these terrorist with the proper crimes.

3. Yes, but not just in terms of how we charge them, but also how we think of them.

The "anti-relativists" in the G.O.P. ought to have to consider that people on their side of the debate can also be "terrorists." Such language might deflate the extreme rhetoric of those who egg the fringe on (like O'Reilly) with rhetorical excess (e.g., comparing abortion to the Holocaust or chanting "Tiller the Baby Killer" as he and Beck did repeatedly and insistently).

7. Christian Taliban, Christian terrorists, christofascists, dominionists,
Christian reconstructionists: these are all names for the same group of people - a group that poses a far greater danger to this nation than any band of ragtag nutcases half a world away.

These people want a war. They want us dead. It is long past time to wake the hell up.
