Joan Walsh to Take on Bill O'Reilly over his role in the Tiller Murder Tonight on his Show

Tonight on The O'Reilly Factor, Bill O'Reilly will interview Salon.com editor, and frequent MSNBC guest, Joan Walsh. Here's the backstory:

On Wednesday's Hardball with Chris Matthews, Walsh was critical of O'Reilly and seemed to connect him to the murder of Dr. George Tiller. "When Bill O'Reilly goes on TV every night and calls Dr. Tiller a baby killer and a Nazi and a Mengele, and shows where he works, why do we put up with that?" she asked. "Why is that entertainment in our culture? It's demonizing a private citizen for doing a lawful job? Why are people doing that? Why is that acceptable?" (She expanded on this in a blog post.)

Last night O'Reilly called Walsh "one of the most extreme" critics of him for "telling the truth about Dr. Tiller."

He also invited Walsh on the FNC show — and she accepted. On Twitter, she asked for advice. "I plan on being calm, smart, kind and well-prepared," said Walsh.

1. One thing she may want to be prepared for ...

"Bill O'Reilly goes on TV every night ...." he will say I have not gone on EVERY night and then use that as a lynch pin to promote anything she says about him is a lie.

Holocaust deniers use that reasoning to fight their critics.

Joan Walsh plans on being calm, smart, kind and well-prepared. That is her first mistake.

Bill the Shill will holler and shout, cut her off, ask tangential questions and make her appear

wishy washy and weak. Calm and smart doesn't work with these demagogues. She will do the Left more

harm than good. Wish Randi Rhodes would go on the Craptor.

You have to do your research ahead of time on O'Reilly to throw in his face. Ive seen one too many guests go on his show and not do their research ahead of time and look stupid, while Im at home screaming at the TV on what they should have said.

He'd look at Orally - straight in the eye - and tell him the truth and never back down, yell or fume. He was calm and believable next to the screeching, frothing Orally.

...by telling one or two of the stories that all of us have heard, about women or girls who would have died giving birth or whose babies were hopelessly deformed or already dead. Such as the 9-year-old girl who was raped by her father, whose body was not at all equipped to give birth; or the woman whose fetus had an abnormality that filled its head with fluid making the head too big for the birth canal, not to mention no brain so the "baby" would not have lived anyway.

How does it make Dr. Tiller or anyone else a "baby killer" when they are dealing with situations like these? And if there are no Dr. Tillers around, what are the options for the above mentioned women / girls? O'Reilly needs to be asked this directly, and asked if the "culture of life" includes the life of the mother, or only the life of the (sometimes already dead) fetus?
