PREDICTION: Joe Scarborough Is Setting Himself Up For A Run At The Presidency In 2012 |
|
with a shitload of help from GE.
Listen to Tweety when he talks about what he thinks it'll take for the GOP to come back. He says it has to be somebody completely off the radar that none of the people out there now stands any chance.
Then look at the subject of Joey (Dead Intern) the Scab's book.
Then the neverending selling of that book and the idea of saving the GOP.
MSGEC is setting us up for a Scarborough presidency in 2012.

5. His book kills ANY possibility of that |
|
He's partisan. The book proves it. NBC would NEVER put somebody so blatantly partisan on that show.
David Gregory was never an elected Republican and never served under an elected Republican, so he's a safe 'stealth' partisan in that position.

12. The "dead intern" story is even lamer than the Vince Foster conspiracies. |
|
An intern fainted and hit her head on a desk when she was alone. I knew a girl who died like that in the shower in college. There's never been anything linking Scarborough to that death. Nothing. We sound unhinged when we go on about that.

20. Lame or not, it is going to get more scrutiny if he runs |
|
I never "went on" about the subject, I don't know enough about the facts of the case to do so. I simply said it will get more scrutiny, and I think that is undeniable.

26. There'll be scrutiny, sure, but it's a pretty simple story. |
|
Lori was last seen working alone in Scarborough's offices. She was found lying dead in his office the next morning. The examiners declared that there was no evidence of foul play or suicide, and that her injuries suggested she had lost consciousness and hit her head on the desk, causing internal bleeding. They found her heart had stopped, suggesting a hidden heart condition that might have been responsible for her loss of consciousness. There were numerous other tests--toxicology, etc.--and none found anything out of the ordinary.
Besides, If I were going to kill an intern, I wouldn't leave her body right next to my desk.

IF you don't think he's looking at the likes of Palin and Gingrich and thinking, "I can beat these idiots" I don't think you have ever really listened to the guy.
His ego is the size of Texas.

16. From the beginning, Joe's jealousy of Barack Obama has taken him |
|
Edited on Fri Jun-12-09 10:58 AM by monmouth
to absurd limits. It was apparent to me that he could not believe this young, very smart, handsome young black American, with astonishing popularity numbers took the country by storm. This is and was eating him alive. This is a white "christian" southern boy who had been taught from knee-high this would never happen in 'Murica... He held his bigotry pretty much at bay, for the most part, but he just seethes inside from the jealousy. Barack Obama came along and took the wind out of so many sails, and Joey is shocked, shocked I tell ya.
His book...btw, is already marked down on Amazon, is his beginning to do a copy-cat act and become a "white Obama." He honestly thinks he's popular, he honestly thinks he'd have no problems winning any contest he chooses because of his TV exposure.
Joey's ego has blinded him to the reality. I look forward to his shock and personal awe when he finds the real truth. He may have been a big fish in the small bowl of NW part of Florida, he's a joke everywhere else.

After Palin and Gingrich basically split the base with their red meat tossing, he'll step in to fill the void from the rest of the GOP primary voters.

Don't discount this possibility. The man cannot be more obvious than he is about his ambitions. He's trying to position himself as the sane and rational R, while sugar coating the same old prejudices and failed policy positions the Rs held for the past 30 years.
