Got A Question Re Finding Out Who Owns A Website

just listened to randi and she had a man named mark on from the southern poverty law center. you can look up hate groups on their map and i was searching illinois--there are 23 hate groups--and i'm wondering what is the website where you can look up and see who is regestered to a webpage. anyone know?

I typed in "democraticunderground.com" and got the info right away. But when I tried some of the names on the SPLC list (I only tried a couple) I came up empty.

The problem is that people often register domains using domain privacy services, so the owner may show as something like "domainsbyproxy". In that case, the ownership info is available to someone with a warrant but it's not readily available to the general public.
