Anyone who knows about Dog Fighting: When you hear a story about a |
|

"blue nose" or "red nose" pitt bull dog injured, tortured or killed, would it be productive and logical to think of this as a potential case in which a dog that "lost" a fight may have been killed?
I heard this reported on the news this morning, but periodically I do hear stories like these.
Having volunteered at animal shelters, I have seen the horror of fight dogs, but I don't have first hand knowledge, just second-hand information, of dogs murdered for their inability to "fight" other dogs.
I am just asking if anyone knows this to be true, which I believe it must be, and why are news people so pathetically shy about talking about this subject?
Yes, dog fighting is disgusting beyond belief, but if they soft-pedal the reason that these dogs are being killed, they are not doing their jobs, IMO.

1. I believe it is all in the color and some are worth more than others. |
|
I Googled it and this is what I found: A difference between a red nose and a blue is that a red nose is breed for fighting and a blue nose is breed for breeding and making money because of there color red nose are for breeding to but breed together is the better then all of them they have a chocolate color and might have a red or blue nose. This is only what I copied and now that I read it I'm confused too. I think it is like what I ran in to many years ago. I wanted a Boxer and the only one they had was white. They were going to put it down due to the fact they didn't want that color in the breed. Now this didn't make sense to me because why not just spay the dog? Anyway we bought her and she was a wonderful dog.

2. A dog deliberately made to fight will bear the evidence |
|
if part of a story where one is "injured, tortured or killed" and the story is incomplete without publishing that information. The police are also complicit in not charging the owners/keepers of the dog(s) if they are deliberately fought. I try not to assume that a dog is used for fighting. People do cruel shit to dogs (and other animals) all the time. If there is disposal of a fighting dog, then yes, it's likely that either the dog lost one fight too many. That, or the dog is old or otherwise no longer useful to the fucko fighting them.
I think that if the media restrains itself from stating "this dog may have been killed due to having lost a fight" they're probably getting sued unless the police or other investigative officials suggested it.

3. I'm not sure if I'm getting your question right |
|
but blue nose and red nose are terms for the dark or light colored noses as far as I know. Different color variations of pit bull terriers (the "blue" being the steely gray with dark noses, the "red" being the rusty colored, with pink noses.)
But I think I'm not understanding your question.
