I want to apologize to Sarah Palin for judging her by her looks, because she looks crazy

I apologize to Governor Palin and her family because there is a chance she is not as crazy as she looks.

And I would say the same thing about men who look insane, like Newt Gingrich.

Doesn't matter what he's wearing or if he has his hair on -- he looks completely demented.

I wish I didn't feel this way, but knowing how she works, my guess is she set up this whole scenario of outrage (remember all the other cruder jokes that she let slide), and now she's working it to make herself look gracious.

19. Their worlds got turned upside down

last August 29th. Sarah thought only of herself and her ambitions when she went seeking and accepting that VP nomination. With Bristol being pregnant, Piper and Willow needing to be in school, and Trig needing special attention -- not to mention whatever went on with Track -- why did she choose to run for VP? Governor wasn't enough? And even if she could somehow justify running for national office, why did she feel it necessary to humiliate Bristol in the way she did? I mean, can you imagine being a 17-year-old pregnant "Christian" girl and then having your mother tell the world about it? And then having her boast about how you were going to marry the father, even though you probably knew already you weren't going to? Who knows how long Sarah has been manipulating Bristol's life? And now she brings Willow into the spotlight, who up until now seemed to want to stay in the background. I just don't understand what kind of mother could do this to her kids. No one would have even heard about the joke if she hadn't made such a big deal about it.
