Senator Ensign; on the sanctity of marriage and how gays sully it,
would you repeat your stand again?

So did your wedding vows include: "Unless a girl with better bazooms do us part?"

Sir, how are we supposed to take you seriously after today?
Do the honorable thing and resign. Now.

3. Whaaa?
You can't possibly be suggesting that simply because Sen. Ensign was doing the horizontal mambo with a staffer-not-his-wife that he has damaged the institution of marriage in any way, shape or form? Certainly he hasn't done any damage to marriage to compare with the mere thought of same-sex marriage? And leave it to you libruls to exploit someone's private situation to score cheap political points. Why can't you permit Sen. Ensign the decency to resolve this private, painful, personal matter with his wife? And his mistress? In peace? Have you libruls no shame at all! Arrest my case!

Did I hit all the Bob Boudelang talking points? Someone tune in to Fox to be sure I didn't miss any.

Wait, what am I saying? Fox won't cover this at all.

4. You left out his mistress' husband.
Then again, maybe the mistress' cuckolded husband did the senator's wife or vice versa.

Didn't Ensign have a big speech about DOMA back in 2004?

<snip>
Politico reported, per a Nevada political insider "that Ensign began an affair with a staffer several months after he separated from his wife. When Ensign reconciled with his wife, the source said, he gave the aide a severance package and parted ways. Sometime later, the source said, Ensign met with the husband of the woman involved and had what this source described as a positive encounter. But the source said that the man subsequently asked Ensign for a substantial sum of money -- at which point Ensign decided to make the affair public."
