There IS a public option, but it will not be included without support. Relevant numbers are in the link - please call!

1. I don't understand why we would have both a public option and subsidies
Why not just go with a public option and let it compete against the private insurers without paying people off to stick with private care? Is it because the private plans can't compete without help?

I thought so.

The fax went right through. If you can't get through by phone, you can by fax.

5. It still sucks as it's mandated insurance. The people who can't afford
insurance, but aren't poor enough for Medicaid, will slip between the cracks and still be without health insurance or health care. They really can't get this right because they are so corrupted with what amounts to bribes from lobbyists. I'm very disappointed and I can't support this. It's a complete sell out. It's being done all wrong.
