People's expectations of it are ridiculous. It's not a bunch of dedicated satellites constantly monitoring the earth, and able to focus on special events - it's whatever they can buy from commercial satellite companies.

they got the pictures from Reuters, who got them from a blog and apparently Reuters also issued a disclaimer they could not be verified as current. :shrug: Make a mental note of the waste paper bin in between the riot police and see if it reappears in the future.
